Developer or project inquiry

If you are considering a site in Georgia or the Savannah River corridor, or already in a fight you did not expect, tell us the county and the stage. We will tell you honestly whether we can help — and whether our conflict rule lets us.

Useful to include, if you can:

• County or region under consideration
• Project stage — site screening, under option, land controlled, application filed, contested, or post-approval
• Which service you think you need, if you have a view
• Your timeline and any fixed dates

Do not send confidential site information in a first email.Parcel identifiers, exact locations, load figures, and counterparty names should wait for an executed confidentiality agreement. A first message naming the county and the stage is enough to start, and we will tell you when it is appropriate to put specifics in writing.

Local government inquiry

If you are a local official, a development authority, or a regional organization, you can hire us directly — see what we do for communities. If you would rather just ask a question, do that; we answer either way.

We work one side per county — a developer or a community in a given county, never both. We will tell you, before you hire us, whether we have any relationship in your county. If we do, we will decline.

If you have a question about our role in someone else's project, we will answer in writing. We will tell you who we work for. If a matter in your jurisdiction is quasi-judicial and your attorney has advised that contact is closed, tell us and it is closed — we will not ask you to make an exception.

We treat correspondence with public officials as subject to disclosure under the Georgia Open Records Act and write it accordingly.

Resident or community question

If you are a resident and a project in your county brought you here, you can contact us directly.

We will tell you who we work for. If we are engaged in your county, we will say so, and we will tell you who to call at the company. You should not have to work out who is paying for a conversation you are being invited into.

We answer residents in writing whether or not the answer helps our client. If the honest answer is that a study has not been done, that is the answer you will get.

How this page works

No contact form, on purpose

Every route on this page opens your own email client. Nothing you type passes through this website, and there is no third-party form processor collecting, storing, or analysing your message.

We made that choice for two reasons. A general web form is the wrong place for confidential site information, and a form that quietly ships a resident's message to a third-party vendor is exactly the sort of undisclosed data handling we tell clients not to do.

When you email us, we hold your message and contact details for as long as needed to answer you and to meet any reporting obligation attached to an engagement. We do not sell or transfer it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.Read the privacy policy.
